The Hires root beer extract is a common bottle. In fact I dug 3 of them last week[:D]. They are still nice bottles to look at so I keep them.

Got this one for a buck, still full and sealed in it's original box.[:)] The bottles come in clear and light blue.

Does anyone know what the earliest Hires bottle is? I have a very nice mold blown crown top that says Hires Carbonated Beverages on the front but I have seen hutches on eBay embossed on the bottom. I have some “first issues†bottles in my collection like Heinz and Welsh’s grape juice but I would like to add Hires to that list. Does anyone know what their earliest bottle was?
