Anyone know of a soda with a large horseshoe on the bottom? I found just the bottom of one yesterday, at least I think it was a soda.

The dump was beside an old sandstone foundation. Everything I've pulled out of it so far has been from the teens, 1920 at the latest.

I have a aqua abm soda, from Crystal bottling Co, and the based is embossed with a large "C" that looks horseshoe-like, but the bottle is from Brockton Mass, so I doubt it's what you found in Ohio, but just keep in mind it could be a "C".

I have seen a black(slag) soda -I think I own it- with a good outlined horseshoe embossed on the base...3 or 4 nails each side and cleats; quite unlike a "C". ABM seam-
to-top (I'm gong to say, like Mission Dry...1925-35?)...

Mud, that sounds more like it, except in clear. I'll try to get a pic of the base after I get back.
