Alaska, Hiwaii, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Montanna, Nevada, and New mexico, arkansas, both Dakotas are going to be the hardest or most expensive, most of the hutches from these states run from the 80-1000 range average between 100-300 but there are some more common varieties that sell for around 30-40 from some of these states but even thoughs can be hard to come across, texas can also be a hard one but more there cheaper hutchs show up more often, I can give you a list of some of the less expensive from some of these states besides alaska I have never even seen a hutch from alaska.

Nebraska-Pomy & segleke omaha-$10-20
Oklahoma-Ardmore bottling & manf-$35-50
alabama-E. Carre mobile-$5-10
Georgia-may be hard you may have to settle for a blob
California- any from eureka Cali-$10-20
Montana-merrit and co.- $30-50
Hawaii-Excelsior soda works Hilo-$40-50
Arkansas-I've seen a couple from helena and fort smith that go for-$25-35
Texas-Greenville hutch-$10
Iowa-not sure probably get 1 from Council Bluffs-$20
Washington-not sure probably $30-80
Ohio-just about any from cleavland-$5-10
illinois-most from chicago-$15-25
and so on most of the eastern states are over run with hutches but maine, vermont, virginia, rhode island may be a little harder may be not more expensive but harder to come across them

Yeah the general amount of them are high but if my memory serves me right there are some pretty cheap ones from atlanta, forgot about them. I started a 50 state hutch collection i ahve 18 states I do believe but I get side tracked easy and found my self spening my small bottle budget on various bottles from Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma. I am wanting to start a 50 state whiskey collection I bought 6-7 different slug plate whiskey flask back in the spring and they seem just so awsome you don't see whiskeys nere as much as other bottles and you can pick alot of them up for around 20 bucks except for in Oklahoma where the cheapest 1 is about 250 the one I want the most from my home town would cost me about 1500-2000 doubt I will ever get one of them only a few known almost every single outhouse in this town has been dug and I asked 2 of the guys that dug all of them and they both told me that non of them yeilded even a piece of that whiskey, also the two hutchs that I want from my town sell for $300-500.

grime5 ~

I have only one hutch and willing to part with it if you are interested. It's the "Excelsior" shown below and is in absolute perfect mint condition. No kidding. It will knock your socks off it's so sparkling clean. It's from Jersey City, and has an unusual monogram script on it. Please send me a PM if interested.

Thanks,

SPBOB
