How old?

I think I may have found an area to dig, but I'm not 100% sure, as I am pretty new at this...
I found this broken piece, along with a few others close to the surface while I was checking the area out today, but I'm not sure of age or anything - I can't find much info.
Does anyone know anything about it?
It says Evan Sons Lechter & Webb, Liverpool and London.

I can say for sure, but the second name Webb ius well known soda water manufacturer in England. The were producing soda water in the 1870's. You picture would be of great help.
