I am new at this. I am trying to help my Dad, he has hundreds of coke bottles and has no idea how old they. He is always going to flea markets and buying them and has know idea what he is getting. For example he bought a diet coke bottle that someone told him came out in the sixties and I just recently found out that diet coke didn't come out untill 1982. am I right? Please help.

Thank you,
Randy in N.C.

Keys to dating a coke bottle:

1. First look her over from top to bottom, she must have a decent shape and a nice slender body. Nice lip? How is the base? Is it smooth? She should have a nice round bottom base!

2. What color is she? They can come in clear, amber, yellow... keep an open mind. Some of the finest bottles come in different shades.

3. Will she simply sit there high on her shelf, or is she still willing to pour you a nice drink?

4. Does she feel good in your hands? When you hold her tight she should put a smile on your face! [;)]

Real quickly, those are my keys for dating a coke bottle... good luck with yours!
