How old is this top? Does it go to a demijohn?

It's rather crude and I was excited to find out if was BIM or hand blown. One thing is for sure, that was a LARGE demijohn!Unfortunately this was the only piece I found of it. I usually bring home old olive green tops like this if they are not chipped. I love the crude look of them. Thanks for the insight everyone!

Very cool... free blown has me leaning a bit more toward the 1840s. The pic is of an 1840s free blown, one gallon, demijohn that I "think" may be what you have a piece of.I would think it was hand blown, I don't see any evidence of it being BIM. There is even a glob of extra glass on the inside from a drip during its blowing process.
