Hello all:

Last dig for almost a week. Here are the finds. Your insight is helpful. And once I started to use the right hand....opps a nice slice in the ring finger. Damn those bottle gods. Madpaddla

Local med. But I have never seen even a shard or a piece of this one. It does have a super small bruise. And the shape is very different.

And the unknown bottle. What on earth was this for? Thanks all for your help. There are many reasons folks ask about value. I have yet to sell a bottle for any substantial, but its nice to know what the value is on some of these items. As to keep it or throw away depending on how many I find. Thanks to all. Madpaddla

Rarely does someone find a hobby they enjoy so much, get exercise, learn history, and meet such great folks. Since I started on this website I have introduced 3 people to digging and they love it. You guys have taught me well and how not to be selfish.

Madpaddla,
Three cheers for the assessment of the "Hobby" and you are not alone in learning not to be selfish from the people on this forum. I think I hooked another digger today. His first day digging he didn't find any quality bottles but he found a honey hole of china/porcelain doll heads and some inks. It was the way people on this forum treat everyone new that taught me how important it is to share the things I enjoy. Thanks to all. Steve
