Could these possibly be pre-1900 ink bottles? Thanks.

Could have been used for ink or tack dressing or just about anything. Is there any residue on the interior of the bottles?

Nothing inside of the short one, but dark, thin residue in the bottom of the tall one.

most stoneware inks i've seen had some kind of pouring spout.
