I dug this the other day and thought that it was just a plain ink. When I cleaned it up I noticed the embossing. Anyone know what the initials stand for and if it is an ink or mucilage?
well the keystone should be a hint that its from PA.
There are several forms of that ink.

Good job of detective work there Matt. So the initials J.C.B. stands for J.C. Blair from Huntingdon, PA. I thought that the keystone maybe meant that they had 57 varieties of inks.[]
The Keystone theme continues as I found what is believed to be a Pennsylvania RR oiler that was converted into a funnel at a yard sale today. It's possible that it was always a funnel however. Anyone know for sure what it was originally used for?
