So I went to a dump I've been wanting to go to for a while today, and it was a great day. Hutches, medicines I've never seen before, and these two pieces....the first says E. Pluribus Unum and looks like an eagle and crest.....there is no head of the eagle. The second piece is a snuff bottle I believe, it has a ground lip. I am wondering if anyone can id the the first piece, and possible value of each?

Hi Ted, the piece if it says E. Pluribus Unum on it it is probably a piece linked to the government. I am assuming I am not 100% sure but its my best guess.

The E. Pluribus Unum piece is actually a mustard jar known as 'Old Abe'

Ahh there it is....looks like I will be going back for the top! I pulled it right out of the side wall so there's a good chance the top could be right there too. Thanks for the information.

This is the same bottle in both pics....I only cleaned one of them but both hutches I dug today are the same one! "CC" on the back and "Mineral Waters Troy, NY" on the front. Thanks for looking.

Nice hutches. Go back and look for that mustard top. It could be there. Or it could have been tied to the front of a wagon and used as a hood ornament. Lol

I was hoping that Michael would chime in, he got all my Milk Glass books. The little blue one looks like a Salt or Pepper shaker to me but I could be way off, it could be a cosmetic type. Too fancy for medicine. Jim

Yes, I did get those books. And I still use them regularly! Thank you very much, Jim!
