i found an intresting clear botle in my wonderful home town vacaville califonia i was wonder if any one can tell me about it

From the size relative to your finger, it looks like a faceted cologne that looks like it would've had a matching ground glass stopper. Very pretty.

Jamie is right. A picture of the whole bottle would help. It may be a little panelled snuff bottle but perfume is also a good guess.
