Interesting jar. Ground lip or smooth? Anything embossed on the base? Put it alongside another 1858 and take another picture, showing the entire jars. Your jar shows an interesting shape.
shape is due to the indentations.. on3 on each side by heel an one at 18 in 1858 like someone used they hand to pick up while still hot.. nothing on base except 3 embossed slash marks.. it's smooth lips

I had one just like yours in aqua with a small "1" faintly embossed, just like your pictures show, with the period after 1858. If I remember right, I sold it for less than $10...
