i dug this up about 3 or 4 hours ago...i am very excited to find this one, i havnt found any like it before..i know its not worth much in money value, but i think its a great bottle..it says atwoods jaundice bitters formely made by moses atwood georgetown mass on it....my question about it is the age..im guessing early 1900s. 1910 to 1920..the seam runs all the way up in to the lip...ive never found a bottle that says bitters so i thought bitters were old ones.i just saw this on ebay and the guy has it listed as late 1800s. i just dont see how with the seam...when were the first seams that go all the way up and into the bottle made?....

It's real, but I'm afraid it's extremely common. This product had a very long run, many decades, and yours is one of the most recent ones. But it looks good and every collection should include one of them.. at least you didn't buy it!

ok, i see. so if a bottle has seams all the way from top to bottom, there is no way it is from the 1800s. has to be from 1903 and beyond. ..thanks for the info, ..i found this bottle today in a spot where i only got to dig for about 5 min...i got about ten or twelve bottles and a pretty sweet nehi bottle..im looking foward to hitting this spot in the next day or two when i have an hour or so to dig.....hey cyber, when did they stop using the word bitters on bottles?

Don't know.. but yours is a candidate.. there are plenty of reproductions out there, too, made in the 1960's and 70's..
