I don't think I have ever seen this size in blue and know that there are some Crown China fakes out there but this one looks like it is TOC.

If your talking the label I'd have doubts. It says New Bottle Adopted April 1, '18 I think. Also Sold since 1833-Nearly 100 years old
It's not 1800's and no mention for the food and drug act or ingredients.

I beleive that is a valid circa 1920s bottle.
It is well past the F&D act inception and for external use only so unlikely it would be marked.

I am not aware of any reproduction Merchants bottles.

I wondered about the external. Same with ingredient requirement for other things. What was the progression? Is there a list from internal, external to food and beverage when things had to be labeled? I've seen a lot of articles that don't answer the question.

Thanks Matt but I have that.
I'm talking about the progression from then (or earlier) to now for labeling in general. I have sodas from the late 60's to 70's that mention ingredients but it's more like bragging "all natural". I've seen enough labels for "according to the pure...." stuff and no ingredients (or maybe yes as voluntary).
I've read the Harrison act too.
I have a Cascara pill bottle looks from the 35-45 era that list in grains each content.
At some point % was supposed to be told.
Some of the newest stuff I just remember, like the nutritional labeling.
I have THIS but it doesn't have what I'm looking for.
I guess I may have to look up all those Act's and make a list. I'm just not coming up with the search keywords for a general list. Oh well, another project.
