I would think that your bottle would range between 10 to 40 dollars depending on the rarity
I would be open to offers on this bottle i pick it up at the flea market in a lot love to see it go back where it came from

Well, I looked in my Maine Registers and I went back in time to:

1871 -no listing.
1877 J.G. Ham, apothecary, books, and variety.
1884 J.G. Ham, apothecary, books, and hardware.

I don't know about the years between 1871 and 1877 because I don't own those years of the Registers. Some in depth Googling might help you nail down the date he actually opened his long running business but that doesn't mean he made bottles the day he opened for business. It looks like an 1890's era bottle to me, but who knows for certain.

I collected Maine druggists for a while back in the late 1980s. As far as value goes, I will say that colored druggists are where the money is at, or Territorial druggists from out west, so a popular local Maine druggist with a mortar and pestle is probably not worth a lot, I'd say closer to $15- if perfect. That's just my opinion. I see the clear pharmacy bottles tagged with prices over $35.00 on them when I'm out and about, but I think those clear ones are just too too plentiful, and they're usually damaged or stained also.

You could probably amass a gigantic collection in the thousands just from Maine alone. Every year I dig a few Maine druggists I haven't seen before, and that's just local to my area, let alone the state. I'm sure it's rare outside of the Livermore Falls area, but there's probably not much interest for it past that area either, unless you get a Maine pharmacy collector interested. Sam Fuller aka Sam-MaineBottles would be a likely buyer if he doesn't have it yet. It really is a great looking pharamacy bottle -a classic design.

Eric..........That would be Sam's project. He has published one book on Maine sodas and he's working on a pontilled Maine bottle book.
