I would like help identifying a jar. It is smaller than a pint jar, has glass lid/wire with numbers 225 on it, It has stars below the rim. The bottom has a "K" under it, it has "1873", and under that has the number "12". It's very good condition with no chips. Any info would be appreciated.

This half pint jar is a modern candy jar, I occasionally see them with a label. The 1873 on the base has absolutely nothing to do with when it was made. -Tammy

Thanks for the info. My father passed away in August and my mother gave me a bunch of jars, I had no idea on some of them.
