Jamie says he is assuming this bottle is a patent medicne because of it's shape and "John C. Baker & Co.". It is a little over 9 and 1/2 inches tall, blue/aqua, bimal, light overall haze on out side, (Jamie put a light amount of olive oil on the outside to take away the haze). He said, "Thank's for the idea, Rick." Jamie says it is the only true "Cathedral Window" he has ever seen on a med. Jamie wonders if anyone knows if the John C. Baker & Co. is the same as the Phildelphia John C. Baker & Co? Would anyone happen to know what medice this bottle may have contained? Has anybody seen one of these before? It was dug in Atlanta, Georgia. I bought it at the Rome Bottle Show years ago. Thanks for any help. Pic. to follow. First pic is of the front.
Peace

Here's the pic of the top. There is no pic of the bottom. There is nothing on the bottom. It's just smooth based.

Baker was a very successful drug firm in Philadelphia. They made numerous products and had several interesting bottles. I have some of them but not one of those. Thier larger bottles contained things like sarsaparilla and cod liver oil. That is not the only cathedral medicine but it is one of the nicer style ones.

BEAUTIFUL LOBBY! THANK YOU MATT! FROM LOOKING AT YOUR MEDICINE GUIDE ,I KNOW ABOUT WHAT BAKER PUT IN SOME HIS BOTTLES. I AM AWARE THAT THERE ARE OTHER MEDS. AND OTHER BOTTLES THAT HAVE A "CATHEDRAL ARCH" TO THEM. [LIKE THE BACK OF THIS BOTTLE HAS] THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE EVER SEEN THAT HAS THE ACTUAL DEVIDED "CATHEDRAL WINDOW"ON IT. WHAT OTHER "CATHEDRAL " MEDICINES LIKE THIS DO YOU KNOW OF ? THANK YOU! JAMIE

A very rare design for a medicine. I did think of another one, the Rumford Chemical bottle. I had one of these in light cobalt blue once.
