JOHN WYETH & BRO 1899

Bougt an old bottle at fle market for $5 buck. Bottle is blue and say on the side "JOHN WYETH & BRO" on the botton it says "PAT. MAY 16TH 1899" and in the center on the bottom is has an "A" On the neck of the bottle it say"TAKE NEXT DOSE AT (ARROW POINTING UP)"
Don't know much about bottles yet, still learning. Any info in it would be cool. Did I pay too much?

Did you get the blue dose cup that goes on top of the bottle, also?

jeep - Its a nice old bottle,but theyre considered pretty common. There was a blue glass dose cap wth numbers on the rim that the arrow was supposed to point to - you'll see these bottles complete wth dose cap quite frequently on ebay. Even though theyre considered common,theyre still cool old bottles in my opinion,and five bucks certainly isnt too much to pay,especially if you like it - plus,they look great in the window.

thanks for the info. It doesn't have the dose cuo to it. It does look nice on the window.
