Just started my first aquarium!

So far I have learned ALOT! Most important is add fish slooooowly. It is real hard to do because you want them in there so bad, but it is better than dead fish. So far I am up to 7 mixed platies and 9 zebra danios. In 2 weeks I will get 6 lemon tetras if all goes well. Cory Cats are on my list too, but they will have to wait.

I had one as a kid and got rid of it when I was a teen. The fish were let go in the wild. I still have dreams about the thing, forgetting to feed them for weeks and never cleaning it. I always did, but the dreams feel real enough to cause some kind of anxiety when I wake up.
Now, got a cat...and stray cats outside and all the ducks that roam the grounds at these appts. that we feed and watch out of the sliding door... Still have to clean...the ducks leave a big 'mess' on the patio every day...smells like barnyeard after a few days.
