I have recently come across a couple vials that I don't remember where they came from. The label states, "KAASTILLY BRAND", "HAARLEM-HOLLAND", "THE NETHERLANDS".
Below is a 'crest' with a sword pointing upwards toward a 'cross', and surrounded by 4, 6-pointed 'stars'. Below the crest are the words, "HAARLEM OIL". They are filled with a brownish-black liquid. The caps are of a yellow-ish wax apaper tied on by a small gauge string. Does anyone know what I have here?
Thanks,
Doug
