This one is listed as "Rare" by the hutchbook. I'm not sure what "Rare" usually equates to monetarily for hutches from this territory. Does anyone know what the demand is for Puerto Rican Hutches? Do people add these to their 50 state collections? Thanks.

Yeah I thought that was neat too Bob. I looked it up and I guess this was the spelling prior to 1932.

VERY cool hutch.....love the mug based ones. I suspect when it eventually becomes a state, like Hawaii they will be worth some big bucks. I'm surprised how much the Hawaiian ones bring, but then many have T.H. embossed for territory of Hawaii, making them even more collectable. Don't know how long P.R. has been a commonwealth, but would be cool to fine an embossed "C.P.R." if such a thing exists. Didn't know THIS one existed 'til you showed her off! Thanks. Jack

Thanks Jack, and great idea on its value going up when Puerto Rico becomes a state, which it very well may soon. I suppose I'll hang on to it for now... unless anyone makes me an offer I can't refuse []
