Labeled Owl Drug Co. Bottle

Here is a nice little piece that is up for auction to benefit the forum. The auction will end Saturday, Feb. 3 at 12 noon. At that time, I will submit a "gavel" post and the current high bidder will get the bottle as soon as his/her donation to the forum has been made. Shipping is on me!

The bottle being offered is a 3-inch, clear Owl Drug Co. medicine-type bottle. It features the 2-winged owl on the TODCO mortar and pestle embossed on one side, and THE OWL DRUG CO. embossed on the other. This early ABM bottle dates approximately 1910-1920. The bottle is in overall good condition, with one tiny, shallow flake on the underside of the lip (very minor). What makes this "bird" even better is an ORIGINAL Owl Drug Co. carbon tetrachloride skull and bones POISON label from an Owl store in Astoria, Oregon.
