I have this extremely rare Lawson's no deposit no return NDNR green glass soda bottle. This was available only in parts of Ohio for a very short time. Lawson's is more well known as a dairy and the milk bottles are common but this soda bottle, which also comes in clear glass, is very difficult to find. This one is near perfect except for a small bruise/crack on the base.

I have one that I dug years ago in my collection so I would like to trade this one for a rare embossed crown top NDNR soda bottle.

Post here or send me a message with what you have to trade if you are interested.

ORIGINAL: druggistnut

I noticed it is embossed LawsEns, not LawsOn's.
Bill

It is the textured design that is on the bottle that is making it look like that in the photo. A spelling error would be neat but I have not seen any on bottles from this time period (1960s-1970s). Has anyone seen a bottle from this time period with an embossing error?

I appreciate all the comments. Are there any NDNR collectors here looking to add this rare bottle to their collection?

Last call for anyone who is interested in the Lawson's bottle. Where are the NDNR collectors? Any Ohio collectors need one?

I would prefer to make a trade but I am open to any fair offers.

I have the same bottle if you are still interested in a trade. Do you know the value? I have no cracks, paper label is in fair condition.

When it comes to paper label bottles from obscure companies, it's really whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I don't know if this company in particular if highly desired by collectors, I think it's more that embossed NDNR bottles are collectible in general. Yours will probably be much rarer but not necessarily as in-demand. If you want to sell it, best thing is to put it up on Ebay and see what you get for it.
