It's definitely worth looking around there to see if you could find more. For those wondering what the whole insulator looks like, here's a photo link: https://www.insulators.info/pictures/?id=524171196 The insulator would have been in a hole in the crossarm, with the metal hook coming down. The line wire would rest in the hook.

This is a defunct rr line. I understand freeze thaw cycles cause them to crack but they did REALLY good on the erie "over the hill" dig so fingers crossed
