I know there are a lot of people that post there digs in this forum so I figured I would start a thread so that everyone could share a photo of the best bottle they have ever dug....doesn't have to be a recent pic....as long as you dug it from a privy, cistern, or dump. I think this will be kinda fun. So lets see em!!!!
My best find actually came from a very old cellar hole dump back in June, 2004. a lot of the stuff we dug was pontiled Stoddard, Keene, and Coventry...we dug a total of 197 bottles from the dump...26 of them were pontiled. The bottles ranged from 1830-1880. My best find was a three mold geometric ink from the coventry glass house in CT. This style was from 1820-1840. Thanks for looking.
