I left a pile of cracked ones. I'm not far from a local store which closed in the 1980's. I have several varieties of local Dr. Pepper including an Amber one. I am not sure why the store did not return these for a deposit.

have to be a reason , maybe out of area ? brands the store didn't actually sell and were just left there ? could of been too dirty to return and didn't bother to clean them .

Maybe so, but most distributors picked them up and disposed of the obsolete ones.
