Put them for sale on Ebay. If they're worth anything people will bid it. If it's bought and for a high price in the end you know it was rare. That is what I would do.

Hey Imadigger,

Posting them on eBay is a good thing to try but you may want to list them with a reserve price first to see what kind of interest they generate. List each one with a reserve of say $120-150 and see what happens. If they sell, you make good money, but they have been worth more. If they don't, mark the highest bid and post them again a week later either without a reserve or with a reserve just below the highest bid.

Make sense? better to be safe than sorry!

I have sort of the same bottle "2nd pic",I think thier called calabash's.but unsure.....
mine is very crude aswell,with lots of bubbles and lines goin down the neck,VERY VERY thin glass also.......kinda like a pre-torpedo

chianti wine bottle. These are commonly found in italian reasaurants. The origionally had a wicker base tho hold them up. Of course, yours is older.[:D]
