Hi everyone! Hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on a broken bottle my husband dug up at work in Clayton, NJ today. Our search for an id/info has turned up empty so far. Any help would sure be appreciated! For the size of it, it’s pretty heavy and solid. The piece we have is about 6” tall, 2” across the bottom & weighs 1/2 lb. Says it was a 7 oz bottle. Unfortunately the 1st & 2nd letters on the front are mostly sheared off. Hard to tell if its a D, B or something else. Second letter looks like it was a capital I. Then we have LL’S. It has a cool crackle pattern and its also kind of ribbed like a barrel? Reminds me maybe of an old root beer or sarsaparilla would come in. Bottom says Syracuse NY. Capital R inside a triangle. V85 47.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
