Saw some correspondence earlier today advising that Mr. John Waller had his significant lid collection stolen in its entirety. Apparently he was attending a local bottle club meeting last night in Kent when he was burgled. Hopefully a list of these items and images will follow. He specialized in multicolored advertising pieces.

this poor mans collection was taken in 04,im sorry too say that at this point it would be near impossible to trace them, so if one turns up at any auction how could anyone tell if its from the collection unless they offered the whole collection and even then you would have to have marks or something to positivley id them. it is a shame though and i do hope one day he gets some back. That is horrible. Must have been someone that knew the man. Someone close that was also a collector.
But on another note, Gidday, i see you live in the Bahamas. Any local Codds or marble bottles there?? If so do you have any pictures!!? thanks
