RHONA...all those in the 1st pic but one appear to be Bennington pottery marbles...made in Germany, and not Bennington, VT as popularly believed.

There's some listed on Ebay...

hi whiskeyman, thanks for the information. i have been finding old marbles lately the one in the top picture is like the one my husband found a couple of days ago. they where digging up the street in frt. of where he works in balt city. he found that and a 1898 embossed balt beer. there was loads of broken glass all diff colors. that was sad. rhona

I've dug several of the Benningtons and the unglazed marbles before.
I find them attractive.

Too bad about all the broken glass. Happens all the time though...unfortunately.[]
