Right now I am lacking a Red Book, and was wondering about theses jars. The first is a Mason's CFCo. Improved with Trade Marks embossed above it. I thought it was odd that Marks had an S. The base is marked D70, which I doubt means anything. The lid has the CFJCo monogram and 1871 patent date.

The second jar is embossed Mason's Improved on the front in crude letters. I love the R. The base has the 1867 patent date and the lid and 1870 patent date.

Values?

RIBottleguy- I'm still new at this, so if I'm wrong the jar guys who actually know their stuff can correct me, but your jar looks to be #1722 in redbook 10.Quart Aqua is priced at $10-12

It might be 1722 but the quart value opposed to the pint value is pretty significant. Thanks for looking into in though!
