If anybody was interested in buying the above listed bottle that I posted earlier this year, it will be available in the upcoming American Bottle Auction starting on July 10th and running through July 19th.
McP. C & Co. MINERAL WATER. Applied taper collar and graphite pontil. Here’s a very rare bottle from Natchez, Mississippi. You read that right, Natchez. The fact that it’s from Mississippi at all is pretty amazing because as we look for information on any Mississippi bottle especially mineral waters they just don’t exist. Here’s a really nice one, too. Lot’s of whittle great color and never cleaned. There are a few minor scratches and just a bit of "use wear" but it retains all the original graphite and will look just fine on your shelf with all your other Mississippi water bottles. All two of them? A grade 9.3 soda, doesn’t get much better. Est. $500-1,500
The American Pontiled Soda Database Project (search Provenance: Natchez) has it listed as valued at $1900
