McPherson Co Beautifier - Mystery Bottle

I have a bottle with all original labeling and still sealed with the original liquid. I'm not sure of the date. The bottle label states the following:

MAGIC BEAUTIFIER
The true "Elixir De La Berute"
LOTOL
McPherson Co.
Norton, Va.

The bottle is a medium to dark cobalt blue, approx 7-8" high and about 3-4" diameter. The bottom is stamped with a 'M' within a circle. Any help in identifying the history, date and value of this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sds and welcome to the forum. A picture of the complete bottle would be helpful. I can tell you that a M inside a circle was made by Maryland Glass Corp. since 1916. I don't know the value, but any bottle with an original label in good shape is worth more. By reading the label as best as I could,.... maybe a toiletry of some sort? Happy Diggin, Kelley
