Show us your monster tops. It's hard not to keep these guys when I find them, I wish I could have seen the whole bottle. Digging one of these whole doesn't happen very often. The second biggest was a Whitall Tatum and has a 17 on it.

Here is an incredibly large Stoddard demijohn top....

It took a set of lungs to blow the demijohn this went on to!

Hi guys; I just wanted to add a fact to the big blown demijohn appreciating people. In a lot of cases on blowing extra large demijohn's and bigger carboys the bottle blower often took a nip of whiskey and blew it into the blowpipe. The vaporizing alcahol expanded and and blue the bottle to size more easily. Spell check isn't here. RED Matthews

Interesting that, about the nip of whiskey Red.....Here's one I found at the base of an ancient Hemlock tree , hiking along a narrow guage railroad grade in the snow ...it had the jagged neck part like some of the above pics, but I ground it down at work for a paperweight...It's a real deep blue/aqua... Joe
