This is a stright sided coca cola. Probably dates early 1900's. In the condition it is in it is worth $25-40 dollars, it will probablly not get that high. Prior to 1915 each bottler of coca cola could buy what ever bottle they wished to put the product in. Some used clear bottle some used amber and others used aqua. The size and shape varried from bottler to bottler also. The position of the coca-cola script logo als varied on each bottle. In 1915 Coca Cola came up with it's famous hobble-skirted bottle and required all of their bottlers to use it. The local bottler still had to but bottles but most major glass makers had the mold to make them. If hey didn't the got onr quick. That is when the name of cities started to appear on the bottom.

Beware some sellers will sell stright sided coca cola bottles that are not. The must have the script logo on them. If a stright sided bottle says "Bottle by Coca Cola of Tampa" fior example and the wording is in block letters, not have the coca cola script logo. It was probably a flavor bottle and did not contain "The Real Thing Coca Cola." Coca Cola was very addament about having their logo on bottles that had Coca Cola in it. I currently have a number of stright sided bottles listed and will be listing Ebay more soon. Here is a search for my listings.
