Mrs Hacker's salve...

Found this one over the summer... Mrs Hacker's Salve. You can't see it in the photo, but the apostrophe S had to be put above the "r" in Hacker's because the name was too long. I couldn't find it in any of the bottle books I have. Thought maybe some of you guys might have a clue about the origin...[8|]

would like to see the mouth on that... is it a jar or broken bottle? I've never heard of it myself...

I think there was one in the Greer sale. Unfortunately it has a flared lip so yours is probably broken. A really obscure item though.


edit... checked Greer its #773

Probably bottle is probably missing only the flare lip. Greer lists it at 2 3/16" tall.

I was afraid that the top was broken off...[X(][X(][X(] Oh well... it is still a cute little bottle. I'll just hold on to it until I find a perfect one![][][] I'll just have to move more of the big rocks and boulders underwater.
