multi-sided bottle

I found this small (7" tall) multi-sided bottle washed up in the Marsh near Cumberland Island, Ga after the recent hurricane. I believe it is pre-1880s because of the mold marks, lip, and bubbling in glass. I would like to know what it might have contained when in use. It is pale blue green.

Judy, hi I would suspect that that is a condiment bottle, Katsup or Pepper sauce. They usually had multiple panels or ribs. The height is about right for one also. Here are several pepper suaces that I have. From 1870' up to 1920's.

thank you. I agree and thought it might be sauce of some kind since the neck was narrow.
