CD 145 Beehive insulator embossed "H. G. CO." on the front, and an "H" on the dome. Sharp edges around the base, swirls in glass's surface. Aqua on the side of green. No time to elaborate and don't expect to see me so often anymore--school, family... I think pre-1910 on this one. Made between 1890s and 1930 if I recall. Not worth anything, but a neat addition to a slowly growing collection-- got it from where I volunteer. On a cooler note, click here to see what Goodman gave me for my birthday!

Final photos for the night, which have been a bear to try and post (made me log off twice as they froze it! Some will not load and I have no time to re-size--am very stressed out, don't think I normally complain a lot) Adios all.

These are common, but still fun. Did someone specifically get it for you?

I find so many of these (I keep the Petticoats) and place them so others may find them. On park benches, the bike trails, posts, anywhere near train stuff, etc. One day, when you get a billion insulators, you may do the same!

Yes, you're right that it's probably pre-1910. To be more specific, I'd say "up to 1911" since this type of beehive was a Western Union standard type through 1911. Hemingray certainly kept making beehives after 1911, but I think it's around that time that they switched from the H.G. Co. to a HEMINGRAY embossing for this style.

Muddy, that's real awesome of you! I got it from where I volunteer; I had tried giving them a general idea of what their bottles might be worth to sell, and spotted it among them. I told them it's probably just a five-dollar insulator, and that might be too high. LOL. I liked it, and was able to get it a week later.
Billin, thanks. I did some research into it, and was able to find it after my first search, which initially surprised me as I didn't think with so little to go on it'd pop up immediately. You provided more info that I didn't get. :)
