I got pretty excited when I dug this one bottom-first. No damage, just a lot of saltwater etching. I cleaned it off right in the water, hence the traces of dirt.

I'd say it's scarce, sells for around $100 on a good day. There is a 12-sided version that I would consider rare.

Nice find!!

I'm still hoping for one myself. Not too much stuff that old in California and Hawaii where I've done most of my digging - although I have managed to pull a few blank punty boys and one heavily damaged Dr. D. Jaynes.

I'd be super stoked to find a Dyer's like the one you got there - and I wouldn't part with it for no measely $100 either [:D]
