I saw a spot that looked extremely promising today while I was out and about and with no hesitation, even though I was without any digging equipment, I went exploring… this is by far the coolest thing I found laying there… the others are soaking but this guy I have to find out about… the only letters on the top that remain are “ONâ€â€¦ can anyone tell me what it is? And for the fun of it what it might have been valued at? Thank you kindly…

Ayuh. Washington-Jackson it is. Worth 3 to 5 hundred dollars if perfect.

When I was a kid I wondered into a field. There was a big pile of rocks in the middle. I found all kinds of busted pontils shards and was real bummed. I had started my interest a few years back and read quite a few (browsed closely really, I was 15) books but I knew they were not just ketchup or Bromos.
I figured the kids smashing them them had a good time though. I just hope they were kids living in the 1850's.[][]

Go back there now, in your pajamas, with a flashlight. If that was just laying there, there has to be something great in there. That would have been a great flask, yes, worth several hundred bucks, but boy, I couldn't sell it if I dug it. I can't remember the last time I heard of someone digging a whole historical flask...
I hope you can get back there, and I hope there's a great prize waiting for you
Good luck!
