natural defect ?

If a bottle has a natural defect does it take away from its value? such as cracks from potstones and things like that.

I agree with Lobey. I bought a fruit jar on ebay last summer that a guy didn't mention a potstone and by the time it got to me from the rattling around in shipping it turned into a crack even though he had it packed to withstand an earthquake. He took it back and resold it on ebay still not quite mentioning the defect honestly. Anyway, the value went from $200 to $40 to another ebayer. Another good point Lobey made also was about the weak embossing. Paul
