Need help...Comet Gin seal ???

Hi...I'm a sea glass beach comber and I found this rare gin bottle seal... I do not know anything about it... does anyone has any information about this seal?? Thanks in advance!! Alexander

there is a reference in the 1870 April 20th Dubuque Daily Herald to E J F Brands Schiedam Comet Gin. Google it.

Welcome to the forum, it's off a 1860-70's case gin bottle from E.J.F. Brands as you know, it's a nice seal and an example still on the bottle would be even nicer...

I also would really like to see a complete Comet Gin bottle, since I found, a couple of days later, these bottle necks or lips just about the same spot I found the seal....they look antique...so, who knows []
