Nice one. It's unlisted as far as I can tell.
There were early Dr Briggs in Boston and New York but I cant verify its origin at this time.

It looks American but I wonder if it's a UK "DOCT"? I thought Mel might know because I thought maybe a vet bottle also but I guess it's not known to her too.
Maybe it's Jerry time on this one? [8|][:D][8|][8|]

I always hesistate to declare something 'unlisted' since there are many references out there.
I can say its not in Greer, not in ODell, not in Holst, not in Balwin, not in my book. I dont have a copy of Nielsens book but ODell covered most of his listings.
It WILL be listed now :) Thanks

Pretty sure its American...and probably for peoples.

I am not sure about it being vet. During pontil era times folks did not worry much about their dogs and I would think a cattle or horse wormer would be larger. Too tell the truth I don't think most farmers would shell out much for an animal wormer. A dose of coal oil or turpentine was usually administered. Just reading through a vet book published in 1846 and it does not even list worms in the contents. I did read about lung worms last night (husk) and they called for turpentine!
Of course, I may be completely wrong too.
