Need help with this bottle!!

Hi guys and gals!! Can anyone tell me any info about this bottle. My friend has had it for some years now and doesn't know anything about it. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!!

Howdy boys,
I suppose it was a British gin from around 1900. The pix are a tad small, I can't see if it has an applied lip, the embossing font, etc etc.. that's all I got.

It's a famous long running British Gin house that also had Scotch distilleries.
