The brown bottle has 7 then a circle with a one or a I in it then 7 again
Middle 16
Bottom backwards E 1885

The brown bottle was made by Owens Illinois at the plant in Alton, Illinois. I can't really see the number to the right of the logo, but it looks like a 2 to me. If it is a 2 then it is most likely made in 1962. The number to the left is a plant code, the number to the right is a year code, and the other numbers are a mould number and catalog code. I don't know anything about the green one.

Sorry, just saw your other post now. If it's a 7 to the right then it would be 1967.

It looks like they changed the number on the mold which is why the 7 looks weird. They did that so that they could use the same mould for different years. It could also be 1977 since the 7 could mean either one.

Okay thanks for they info! The Crass is very lightly embossed. With stars on it. I just could not find another one like it online anywhere. Bottom L 77 can make out the rest stamped poorly
