Needing Information for Various bottles from a Historical Archaeology Project in North Vancouver, BC

Hi there everyone! This is my first post here. I am taking part in an archaeology field school and my project currently is on Glass Bottles. I know that these bottles will most likely date from the late 1800s to the early 1900s and I was wondering if I could get some help with background information on any of the following companies:

Holbrook & Co.
H.J. Heinz Co.
Listerine
E.D. Pinaud
Whistle Bottling Company (Vess Sodas)
Mitsuya
B.C. Breweries Ltd.
Vancouver Breweries Ltd.
Victoria Brewing Co.
Union Brewing Company
United Distillers Limited
Corby Distillers Limited

If you have more information about a certain company, I can definitely provide images of the bottle(s) as well.

Some of the names you listed are also USA companies.

Listerine (Lambert Co.)
E.D. Pinaud (perfume, etc. French I believe)

You can pretty much date them by the VESS. We have many members who collect soda like that. Is it embossed or does it have an applied color label (ACL)?

Keep in mind that bottles can cause a serious disease called bottle collecting and you will have to have a fix quite often. Welcome.

older Heinz bottles can be typically dated by the design number on the bottom

Hello again. The book that I mentioned didn't help much. It a book that covers "BOTTLES OF THE CANADIAN PRAIRIES" by George C Chopping. It is a very informative book on Canadian glass and Canadian Companies, but I didn't find a one of the companies you listed.
As the others suggested I guess Google will help the most.
