older Heinz bottles can be typically dated by the design number on the bottom

Do you think there's anything you can find out from the embossing on the base of this Heinz bottle? Thanks!

base embossing says:
“6â€, “H.J. Heinz Co.â€, “Patd.â€, “251â€, upside down triangle w/ “câ€in centre

Do you think there's anything you can find out from the embossing on the base of this Heinz bottle?

Its a fairly common later katsup form supposedly used from the 1920s up unitl the 1960s.

C in a triangle......Consumers Glass Company, Ville St. Pierre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada (1917-to date). Mark was an inverted triangle (point down) from 1917 to 1961, and a slightly rounded "right-side up" triangle starting in 1962, according to information per Toulouse. A second plant was built at Etobicke, Toronto in 1953.

[ul][*]yo christie, im glad yer interested in the past, the bottles youve posted date from the 20s and 30s with the beers hmm might be a little older, listerenes and ketchups are fairly common, but if youre digging this stuff dig , dig ,dig, mike [/ul]
