Hello there, I finally made it to a bottle show! Last one I went to was the expo in Denver in 2000. Think I work too much. I mainly collect picture druggists but have always wanted a nice Wishart's and got one this time. In about mint condition with a small surface bubble burst and great color. It's not a very good picture though. I got a fantastic fancy drug bottle from Allegheny, Pa. that looks like a bitters bottle. Embossed Glamser-Huckestein Drug Co. 428 Federal St. Allegheny, Pa. Anybody know anything about this one? I might have paid a little too much for it but it's beautiful.

Got a few picture drugs while I was there. First one is from The Cotton Drug Co. in Denver with a wreath and scales. Two druggists from the same vendor in Salina, Kansas with an eagle on them. Red Cross Pharmacy from Leadville and another from there that I have been wanting for a while; J. S. Miller with a graduated beaker.

Also got the amber Leadville drug and a nice rare amber one from Salt Lake City, Utah. I like bottles from mining towns and added one from Central City, Colo.

I know how you feel. Of course, we're blessed to have work, and to be able to do it. That drug bottle reminds me of the Royal Pepsin Stomach Bitters. Never seen one before. Very nice. Looks like you made a good haul at the show.

The Allegheny bottle is a goodie. I saw one a few years ago at a show, but don't remember the price. I'll be talking to a couple of the local diggers/dealers this week and see if they can shed more light on it. It is a little later -c. 1900. Allegheny was annexed by Pittsburgh around 1907. TOC bottles don't get dug as much in local privies, most holes are a little older. Also, It isn't spelled with a G- the first name is CLAMSER. Clamser was around for a while- I have about 10 different bottles-size, color, embossing- from the druggist.Great looking bottle that is on my short list of locals- I am about a mile away from that address. It is under a failed urban "mall" now, Allegheny Center.Congrats!
