traded for these with a guy that bottlekid76 (Tim) introduced me to...thanks again Tim
first one is a nice early boonville pharm that is super clean, i darkened the pics for better viewing
That Roeschel Pharmacist is a beaut! How's the lion rampant get along with the galloping gator? Talk about the animal kingdom on druggists.
That Noah Hildibridle squat is sweet, indeed. The only thing I could find on him, was that he was related by marriage (of his sister, Rachel) to Moritz Schuster. From.
thanks for all the replys
and thanks for the extra info surf, hows the digging been going for ya?
guntherhess yes it does have a ground opening for the stopper, the first one like it ive seen, care to speculate on the reason behind it? cause i have no clue[]
surf----also forgot to mention that ernst roeschel and dan wooldridge (the one with the gator) were in business around the same time so maybe there was a little friendly animal battle going on there, i doubt ernst had a lion in his shop like wooldridge had a gator in his though.[] and for those just tuning in wooldridge really did have a pet gator in his shop
Those are some truly excellent locals. The druggist is a killer bottle, how big is it? That soda is very nice and crudely embossed (or at least sharpied []), and judging from the rarity a very prized addition! Good stuff man.
