found this bottle at an old burned out house site. It green glass, it has bubbles in it, a round base with a little warp from the fire, and a few different mold lines. thought maybe an old wine bottle, but would like your expert opinions pls. This house was in a historic area pre-civil war.

hi I think your bottle is interesting but we will need a picture that shows the finish and the bottom to add much to the identity. These shapes are normally for wine products but we should also know if there are any mold seams showing.
Are there any marks on the finish? RED Matthews

hi, thanks for replying. im not sure what you mean b marks on the finish. There are no labels or embossing on it. On the bottom it has what could be a c or an 0 and possibly a 1, but unfortunately that is in the area that got heated by the fire. There are two mold seams along the sides, and the bottom has a mold seam all the way around it. I will attach a few more pics. Thanks! Curt

Great! thanks! I thought it might be a wine bottle, but I had never found one before so I figured I'd ask. Thanks again!
